A five-pack is a different proposition from one large syringe. It suits a workshop with several benches, a training room, or anyone who wants the same compound in more than one toolbox at once. Each syringe is the standard 3.5 g of GC-4, sealed separately, so four of them stay untouched while the first is in use.

  1. Five sealed tubes beat one shared one

A syringe that travels between benches gets left uncapped, gets the nozzle wiped on something, and eventually gets lost with most of its contents intact. Individual tubes stay where they were put. For a shop with more than one workstation this is a practical argument rather than an accounting one.

  2. A tube per kit, a kit per job

Field work and house calls need paste in the bag, not on the shelf back at the workshop. Small syringes are the right shape for that, and having several means the traveling kit can be restocked without raiding the bench. Each one is enough for a good many machines on its own.

  3. The compound keeps in its packaging

Because GC-4 does not cure, a sealed syringe that sits for a year is exactly as usable as one bought that morning. That is what makes a multipack sensible where it would be waste with a material that hardens. Keep the spares out of direct sun and forget about them until needed.

  4. Same formulation in every tube

Nothing is changed for the multipack: each syringe holds the same micron-particle, non-conductive, non-corrosive compound as the single. The only difference is how many nozzles arrive in the box, which matters if paste is being handed out rather than dispensed.
