A 92 mm UV-reactive fan built for airflow rather than for silence: 2000 rpm at 22.5 dBA, winglet-profiled blades, a Nanoflux bearing rated at 100,000 hours to failure at 40 C, and water and dust resistance. Silicone fan mounts are included to keep the extra speed from turning into panel noise.

  1. Winglet blades and what they are for

The profiled blade tips are borrowed from aircraft wing design and address the same problem: air spilling around the end of the blade instead of being pushed by it. Reducing that leakage recovers airflow that would otherwise be lost and takes some turbulence noise out with it.

  2. Two thousand rpm is a choice

This fan is deliberately faster than the Silent series equivalent, and 22.5 dBA is a good result at that speed rather than a quiet one in absolute terms. It suits a position that genuinely needs air moved, such as a rear exhaust in a warm case, rather than a fan you want to forget is running.

  3. Silicone mounts with a fast fan

Anti-vibration mounting matters more as speed goes up, because a faster motor puts more energy into any imbalance and into the panel it is bolted to. The included silicone mounts are not an accessory here so much as part of the design working as intended.

  4. Built to keep running

Between the 100,000-hour bearing rating and the water and dust resistance, this is a fan specified to survive conditions that shorten the life of ordinary ones. That combination is more relevant to a machine in a workshop or a warm room than to one on a clean desk.
