Check price and buyA 120 x 120 mm square is 14,400 square millimeters, roughly four and a half of the standard 80 x 40 sheets in one piece. At 0.5 mm it is the format for anyone who fits thin pads regularly: a repair shop, a mining or rendering rig with a dozen identical cards, or a workshop that would rather cut from stock than order per job. Same 12 W/mK GP-Extreme compound throughout.
The economics of interface material change once you cut it weekly. Small sheets cost less each time but leave a margin of unusable edge on every job. A large square lets you nest cuts the way a tailor nests a pattern, and the offcuts that remain are big enough to be the next job rather than the next bin liner.
Where several machines share a board, the first teardown is design work and the rest are production. Make a card template once, then cut a full set for every unit from the same square. Working this way from a single sheet also keeps the material batch consistent across the whole fleet.
A 120 mm square of 0.5 mm filler is floppy and wants to fold onto itself the moment both liners are off. Keep the backing liner attached, cut through it, and only peel the second face as each piece goes down. Two people are not needed, but a flat mat and a little patience are.
A single square kept flat in a drawer takes up less room and collects less dust than the equivalent area in loose offcuts. The compound does not cure or harden, so the sheet you open today is still the sheet you cut from in six months as long as the liners stay on.
