Check price and buyThis is the largest format in the higher-conductivity line at its thinnest setting. A 120 mm square holds 14,400 square millimeters of 0.5 mm GP-Ultimate rated 15 W/mK, which is enough thin material for a fleet of identical machines, a season of drive shields, or a workshop that prefers to cut from stock rather than order per job.
Thin pads are where a better compound changes the most, because there is so little thickness left to dominate the result. Buying that compound as area rather than as single sheets is what a bench does once it has decided which material it trusts and stopped experimenting on every job.
Draw the pieces on the liner before the blade comes out. Long strips along one edge, small islands nested into the spaces between them, and the remainder left as a clean rectangle rather than a lace of holes. Ten minutes of planning routinely saves more material than the planning costs.
A 120 mm square at half a millimeter is floppy and will fold onto itself the moment both liners come off. Cut through the backing liner with it still attached, and peel the second face only as each piece is placed. A flat mat and unhurried hands matter more than any tool here.
Cutting a whole fleet from a single square means every machine gets material from the same production run. That removes a variable when you later compare temperatures between units, which is the sort of thing that only matters until the day it does.
