Thin sheets are consumed quickly and torn occasionally, which makes a twin pack the sensible way to buy them. These two 90 x 50 mm sheets of 0.5 mm GP-Ultimate carry 15 W/mK each and give 9,000 square millimeters of thin filler in total, enough for both faces of a card or several small devices.
Front and back of a card in one order
A repad rarely stops at the memory row. There is usually a controller under a shroud, a small heatsink over the power input, and often a backplate wanting a thin strip of its own. Two sheets covers all of it without a second look at what is left in the drawer.
Room to make a mistake
Half-millimeter filler tears if a liner is pulled at the wrong angle, and a torn pad fitted anyway is a void. Working with a spare sheet available changes the standard you accept: a bad cut goes in the bin instead of onto the board.

Thin filler and surface preparation
There is nothing to say about thin pads that does not begin with cleaning. Residue from an old pad is often thicker than the new pad itself. Remove it completely with a plastic scraper and isopropyl, let the surface dry, and only then start cutting.
